No seed goes to waste in the Kingdom of God. There is no dustbin for prayer. Everything counts for something, even when it doesn’t feel like it.

I know you know how it feels to not feel like praying. I’m almost sure you’ve had instances where you feel that your prayers don’t even go beyond the ceiling. A place where the plug seems loose and you’re probably just keeping on because you’re afraid that worse will get to worst the moment completely you stop praying. A place where you can sit through an entire church service and ‘grasp nothing’. This one’s for you….
No seed goes to waste in the Kingdom of God. There is no dustbin for prayer. Everything counts for something, even when it doesn’t feel like it. Often times, we find ourselves in such a place when we are burdened, afraid, stressed, doubtful….And Jesus understands, He says in Matthew 11:28-30: “Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Jesus is true to His Word. In Him, a burden may still be a burden but it is definitely a lighter burden because He is in the picture; which means that you will not be on your own through it all because He will empower you through the Holy Spirit. He will give you peace through the tough season. He will share in your tears and pain. I mean, he went through shameful death on a rugged cross for you; that won’t be too much for Him. When you’re overwhelmed, whisper His name. There is power in His name.
Nothing can separate you from the love of Christ. Not even your unrest. He’ll never get tired of you. When you can no longer do it, He will do it for you. He knows your heart. He can see through your eyes. He can feel your heart. Take a walk and marvel at God’s creation. Journal. Share with a friend about how you feel. Take a rest, He cares and with compassion, He will lift off all the weight in your heart. Just don’t
Prayer touches the part of you that is still in the process…uncertain…full of questions and doubts.
When all you can do is whisper His name, just do it!It counts for something:)
